I’ve wanted a physical volume mixer for years now because controlling the volume of Discord or Spotify while in a fullscreen game is a chore. I stumbled upon the Instructables page while searching for something like it and I had to have it.
I don’t have access to a 3D printer and I’m really glad Ananords provides the option to buy all the necessary hardware in a neat package. I got a black case with white custom icons. The print was of good quality with only a few strings around the screw holes which I removed.
This was my first soldering job and the Instructables article along with the video helped a lot. I ended up needing to trim the pins connecting the Arduino daughterboard to the slider PCB with some wire cutters because they interfered with the middle slider. I had the whole thing assembled and working in a couple of hours.
Overall, I’m very happy with how it turned out and can’t wait for Ananords’ future projects.
